Info | Mark Anderson is running for Place 1 on the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals. He is a Republican from Montgomery.
Anderson was Montgomery County Circuit Judge for eight years before becoming the Deputy Attorney General for the State Department of Human Resources. He graduated from the University Alabama School of Law in 1962 and clerked for Alabama Supreme Court Justice James S. Coleman before becoming an Assistant Attorney General in 1963.
He entered private practice in 1966.
Judge Anderson joined the Republican Party in 1970 as its candidate for a seat in the State House of Representatives. He is also the founder of the Montgomery Republican Club.
