| Info | Lucius E(ugene) Pinkham was the fourth territorial Governor of Hawai'i. He was born in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts in 1850. After working as a manufacturer in various cities in the United States and in Asia, Pinkham settled in Hawaii in 1898. In the early 20th century, Pinkham served as president of the board of health.
Governor (D-HI Territory) 1913-1918. Pinkham was the first Democratic Governor of Hawai'i. Much of his administration was devoted to issues surrounding US involvement in World War I.
Pinkham was in California in 1922, where he endured an extended illness. He died in the Letterman General Hospital in San Francisco.
