InfoGreg Watrich has been involved in federal and provincial politics for several years. He has earned a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto. He served on the Executive Board for Conservative MP James Moore for two years, and was also Treasurer and Finance Critic for the BC Unity Party for four years.

As Finance Critic, Greg presented a BC Unity alternative Provincial Budget in Victoria on Budget Day in February 2003. The fiscal planning in the document was corroborated by the auditor general over the next few years. He was a Unity Party Candidate in the 2001 provincial election, and was elected Unity Party President in 2004. He has also participated in procedures and made written submissions to the CIRB the CRTC, and Parliament.

Greg is a leader. He has served as Treasurer on a Co-Operative Executive Board, as a purchaser and planner on the Maintenance Committee of a strata council, on the Building Committee of Coquitlam Presbyterian Church, on the Pastors Advisory Board of Mission Foursquare Church, and as a Sunday School Teacher.

He has 18 years experience as a financial sales and service professional with some of Canada's leading companies, such as: The Four Seasons Hotel, Canada Trust, Credit Unions, and BC Tel.

Greg has lived in BC for 14 years, the past 10 years in the Tri-Cities.

He is married to Jane, with one child.
