| Info | Former Coquitlam Mayor, Jon Kingsbury is proud to be the candidate for Port Moody-Westport-Port Coquitlam. Mr. Kingsbury was first elected to Coquitlam Council in 1988 and served as Mayor from 1998 until 2005
Prior to his involvement in Coquitlam Council, Mr. Kingsbury owned and managed a construction and engineering firm with up to 50 employees, for 25 years doing projects ranging in several hundred million dollars.
Mr. Kingsbury has dedicated his time to the Board of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) for 15 years and represented the GVRD Waste Committee, Riverview Hospital and the Coquitlam Heritage Trust as Chairperson.
He is a volunteer to Kinsmen for over 20 years and also has been part of Scouting for over 20 years where he is a member of the Scout Guild.
Jon currently lives in Coquitlam with his wife Linda. They have three children and eight grandchildren.
