| Info | Thom Chapman has been living in the Trinity-Spadina area since he moved to Toronto eight years ago, and is happy to be the Green candidate in such a diverse and culturally rich riding.
As a relatively young voter, he is concerned with the low turn outs at the polls from his age group and feels it important to re-engage youth to take part not only the voting process but to take a strong interest in politics as a whole. As such, Thom will be focusing on the youth vote in this campaign, urging for proportional representation in the House of Commons, and is eager to create a strong Green Party membership base in the riding of Trinity-Spadina for this and future elections.
Thom is an avid supporter of local arts & culture, an enthusiast of Pedestrian Sundays in the Kensington Market over the summers, and is looking forward to working hard as a Green representative to ensure the development and sustainability of the local business and arts communities.
An honours graduate in Public & Media Relations, Thom has been working in Canada’s film and television industry for the past 3 years and currently works in International Sales at one of the largest television and media companies in the country. In his spare time he takes French lessons at Alliance de Francaise Toronto, enjoys chess, and reading the works of Philip K. Dick.
