Info | Robert is an information and technology manager, specializing in geographic information systems. He completed his Master of Science degree in Geography and has post-graduate diplomas in GIS and Public Administration. He is a member of the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors.
Robert has always had an interest in environmental and political issues. He became active in the Green Party due to the Adams Mine controversy, which resulted in Toronto’s garbage being transported hundreds of kilometres to a dump in Michigan. Although seen as a solution by many, he feels that we have shifted our problems to another jurisdiction that is now fighting to end this arrangement.
Robert has been on the executive of the local Green Party organization for the past five years and is currently President of the Association. He has also served on the Toronto executive of Fair Vote Canada.
Today, many people feel they do not have a voice in government. His candidacy gives West Toronto residents an opportunity to "Find Your Voice."
Robert is a husband and a father, and a long-time resident of High Park. He is also an aspiring half-marathoner and a three-season bicycle commuter.
