InfoAdam was born in London, ON, but spent most of his childhood and teenage years in the country of Bangladesh, where his parents worked with an international NGO.

It’s partially his experiences in Bangladesh that have led Adam to run for the Green Party. “My eyes were opened to the realities of our world”, the 23-year-old says of his experiences. “And since returning to Canada, I’ve realized the incredible potential Canada has to be a world leader, if only we would adopt a sustainable way of managing our country’s future. That’s why I’m running for office, and that’s what I believe the Green Party is offering all of us—a Canada we can be proud to leave to our children.”

At the age of 14, while still in Bangladesh, Adam pioneered a not-for-profit design service, ReaCh Software, which did multi-media projects for charity. The King family returned to Canada in 1999, moving to Brantford, where Adam graduated with honours from North Park Collegiate & VS. Since living in Brantford. Adam has enjoyed volunteering at summer camps with children and special needs adults, as well as for local church youth programs. In 2004, he co-founded the anti-corruption lobbying and activist group, Students For Good Governance.

Adam is currently studying political science at Glendon, York University’s bilingual college, and continues to live in Brantford, where he operates his own 3-year-old design and marketing practice.

In his spare time, Adam spends time with his fiancé, Autumn, and sings and plays guitar & banjo for the band False Heroics, who are currently recording their first full-length album.
