Wes Allen, a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, declared his intention of running for the Republican party nomination for Auditor in Alabama’s June 2006 primary elections. The Auditor’s office is charged with keeping track of state property and making account for items lost or stolen.
Wes Allen, a former football player for the University of Alabama, currently serves as Co-Director of Athletics Development for Troy University in Troy, Alabama. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy as well as a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the National Rifle Association. Wes and his wife, Cae, have two children: Davis and DeeAna.
