| Info | Mrs. Danna Edwards was elected to the Board as Area 21 representative. Mrs. Edwards, a retired Greenville County Schools English teacher, earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of South Carolina, and a master’s in English Education from USC.
Mrs. Edwards has held many professional leadership roles, including Greenville County Teachers of English Vice-President; School Improvement Council; Speech and Debate Assistant Coach; Warrior Teacher of the Year; Senior Team Leader; Advanced Placement Coordinator; Seeds Reading Volunteer; Vacation Bible School teacher and Sunday School teacher at Edwards Road Baptist Church; National Forensics League Parent volunteer; to name a few. She is a past member of the South Carolina Teachers of English and a past school representative for the National Education Association.
Mrs. Edwards is married to E. Perry Edwards, attorney at law. They are the parents of three adult children, James, Benjamin, and Susan.
