Description | CHASE OLIVER, Libertarian Party candidate for Georgia's U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock, succeeded in his mission to highlight broken election rules in the state that forced a runoff election Dec. 6 between Warnock and Republican challenger Herschel Walker. Oliver received just under 3 percent of the midterm vote, preventing Walker and Warnock from securing 50 percent plus one vote, Georgia's rule for statewide elections. |
