Special election announced by the Serbian President on March 10, 2024 after quorums for the 20th Assembly of the City of Belgrade were not reached by the deadline of March 3, 2024. Election will be certified by the President of the National Assembly on April 2 or 3.
The office of the Mayor of the City of Belgrade has been led by the President of the Provisional Authority of the City of Belgrade since October 30, 2023, pending the outcome of the special election.
