Info | My name is Frederick Alfred Jr, and my journey from Dania Beach, Florida, to the beautiful state of Colorado has been one guided by a deep sense of purpose, family values, and a commitment to making a positive impact on our community.
As the child of a Haitian mother and a Saint Lucian father, I understand firsthand the unique challenges and incredible opportunities that come with being a first-generation American. These experiences have shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for ensuring that everyone in our diverse community has a voice and an advocate in the State Senate.
My academic journey began at the University of Florida, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. This educational background provided me with a solid foundation in critical thinking and problem-solving, skills that I believe are crucial for addressing the complex issues facing our state.
In 2014, my wife Adily and I made the choice to make Colorado our home. Drawn by the state's natural beauty, vibrant communities, and a spirit of innovation, we embraced the opportunity for a fresh start. In pursuit of a deeper understanding of Mineral and Energy Economics, I enrolled at the Colorado School of Mines, where I earned my Master's degree.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. My wife and I are proud parents of a three-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter. Their future, and the future of all the children in our district, is a driving force behind my commitment to building a community that provides them with the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.
I am running for the State Senate because I believe in the power of collaboration, inclusivity, and effective representation. I am dedicated to addressing the issues that matter most to you — whether it's ensuring quality education, promoting sustainable energy practices, or fostering economic development that benefits everyone.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Together, let's create a future where the voices of every resident are heard, where diversity is celebrated, and where the well-being of our families and communities takes center stage.
Thank you for considering me as your representative for Colorado State Senate District 21. I am excited about the opportunity to serve you and work together to build a brighter future for us all.
