I most agree with the above, though if there's major news items about the party, that could be posted here. My only apprehension about that in this particular case which Zeus kinda referenced too is that Elon will just be spouting Elon stuff and nothing will probably come from his ramblings.

Looks like I just barely missed your county on my roadgeeking trip today (made it to McAdoo/Beaver Springs but didn't cross over to Hazle Twp). HB!

I think, and I probably should have made the recommendation before in the About Site section, is that all silly races on candidate pages should be grouped at the bottom (like the dropped out races) for situations like this and the actual candidates placed in imaginary races.

But also to put things in perspective, Kerry-Edwards was 20 years ago

The newly appointed member and the two holdovers can be in the same race, just hide the two holdovers by putting in dropout dates for both of them.

Going back to the original question about how to format this once he resigns, for multi-member races I honestly just leave the race as-is except for adding a note on the original race page. There is a way to show a vacant seat, but if the vacancy is filled relatively quickly, and because this is just a county-level race, it's really not worth it to go through all the trouble.

Once a new person is selected, I'd use that race to override this one for dates after the selection.

He'll be the nominee for Senate in 2028 continuing PA's trend for carpetbagger candidates.

Answering my own question a little:

Nixon (April 1994) & Agnew (Sept. 1996)
McGovern (Oct. 2012) & Shriver (Jan. 2011)
Stevenson (July 1965) & Kefauver (Aug. 1963)

HB!

I'm trying to decide whether I should be precinct captain or volunteer for an organization.

Absolutely start out at the committee-level. I'm a county committeeperson myself (in addition to being involved with my College Democrats back in the day). Use it to get to know others and show the higher-ups that you're serious about the position. Don't know what kind of county/municipality you live in, but it could be as easy as writing yourself in on committee election and winning it.

@Charlotte K-A if you are marking races certified, can you update the source link and make sure the precincts reporting is 100%?

Note my thumbs down is in regards to having him be our state's problem. I don't like him and don't want him to be governor. Now if he pulls a Gaetz* and resigns right away, I shed no tears.

(*Only in regards to resigning, nothing about ethics and age of partners)
