Kerry takes American Samoa's Democratic caucus
PAGO PAGO, American Samoa (AP) - John Kerry easily won the presidential poll at American Samoa's Democratic caucus Monday night.
Kerry, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, received 83 percent of the votes while Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich received 17 percent, according to preliminary results.
American Samoa has six votes in July's Democratic National Convention in Boston. The local delegation will be led by former Territorial Senator Galea'i Tu'ufuli.
