| Description |
The 2d Liberty Party National Convention assembled in a tent in front of the court house in Buffalo NY. Leicester King OH was the chairman of the convention. There were 148 delegates present from 12 states. The national ticket, nominated unanimously, was James G. Birney for President and Thomas Morris for Vice-President.
