Also as I recall Torricelli dropped out after the legal deadline to host a replacement candidate. The NJ legislature met and changed to law to allow Lautenberg to appear on the ballot. The Greens and Republicans filed a lawsuit but were unsuccessful in keeping Lautenberg off the ballot.

The site was a baby at that point - having just been launched that June. And had a lot less functionality. I don't see anything in the DB related to the Torricelli polling. Note the General Election RaceID is 8.

Hm. Interestingly, I have PollResult data for Torricelli that no longer has Poll data (the Polls were deleted, but not the data for each Candidate).

The site wouldn't have a way to display this type of thing even now.

Wow. I just assumed this site was always around LOL. That adds some perspective.
