Description |
The Prohibition National Convention assembled at Winona Lake IN. There were 301 delegates and 77 alternates present representing 29 states and DC. Nominees: Claude A. Watson CA (President) and Dale Learn PA (Vice-President).
The vote shown here is for the third ballot, when Watson won the nomination. The New York Times stated that Learn and Colvin were contenders in the earlier ballots but did not provide statistics for earlier ballots.
