Description | Former New Jersey State Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff is exploring a 2024 U.S. Senate bid against Democrat Bob Menendez, potentially pitting a former member of Gov. Chris Christie’s cabinet up against a three-term incumbent facing possible corruption charges.
After a probe that has lasted roughly a year, the Justice Department is now considering possible charges against Menendez, the Wall Street Journal reported on August 25.
