| Description | Coleman’s HB 1987 would prohibit abortion after fetal heartbeat is detected and provide private citizens the ability to bring a civil suit against abortion providers and anyone who aids women in getting an unlawful abortion procedure. It would also attempt to limit funding to Missouri’s lone abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, which has opened a clinic across the Mississippi River in Illinois.
