| Description | The pace of site building slowed a bit during the past month. The number of newly posted news items, races entered, and new candidate profiles all dropped from earlier levels. The drop in all three categories was not out of the normal range, however.

Forty-three users posted 595 news items. That was a drop from the 759 of 7/2006, which is not too much of a decrease given the lower number of elections this year. Participating users averaged 14 news posts.
