| Description | Here is the monthly report for 04/2007. Posting of news items continued at a rate slightly below average of the past year, as did creating of new races. However, entering new races increased by 69% compared to 04/2006, which had been the slowest month in that category.
=== News Items ===
Forty users entered 484 news items in the past month. This was an average of 12 per participating user. It compares to 600 news stories posted in the prior month and was the slowest month in terms of posting news items in the past 10 months. More users participated in this category than normal. The following were the top 10 posters of last month (16-76 items):
Randy, Bobby, Bill Albers, Thomas Walker, Kal El, Scott Tester, C Block, Ryan Walker, Forward, and Joe Keene.

=== Races Created ===
Twenty-seven users entered 2,217 races, for an average of 82 each. This was an increase over the 1,327 of 4/2006, which, as stated, had been the lowest number of new races in the past 12 months. The new low point is the 1,515 of 11/2006. Some notes: Ev's total number of new races passed 1,000 in the past month. He and Scott Tester joined five other users in entering 1,000 races in the past 12 months. One of the more remarkable percentage increases was that of Karma (congratulations!).
