| Info | Bill Blaydes has lived in Lake Highlands for over 25 years and is a former president of the Lake Highlands Homeowners Association. He has served as your representative from District 10 for 7 1/2 years as a member of the City of Dallas Planning and Zoning Commission.
His long list of public service also includes serving as vice chairman of the City of Dallas Board of Adjustment, member of the original "Dallas Together" task force, chairman of the Building Utilization Task Force of the Richardson Independent School District, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Texas Easter Seal Society and President of the Dallas Easter Seal Society for Children.
Bill was the volunteer announcer for ten years at Lake Highlands High School Stadium where he was the "Voice of the Wildcats" proclaiming to all opposing teams who entered the stadium, "Welcome to the Boneyard!"
Bill Blaydes is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Resource Advisory Service, Inc., a real estate consulting firm. Bill is a graduate of Texas Tech.
He and his wife, Sara Petet Blaydes, have been married for 35 years and are members of Park Cities Baptist Church. Their three children all graduated from Lake Highlands High School. Bill also coached youth football and girls softball and basketball in Lake Highlands for many years.
