Info | Terry earned his law degree while he worked the streets of Philadelphia as a decorated police officer. He served on anti-crime units and received many commendations, including the Chapel of the Four Chaplains Award. Hired by former Bucks County District Attorney Alan Rubinstein, he worked as an assistant DA for more than 14 years, leading the child abuse unit for 11 years. He streamlined victim interviews to aid victims of crimes. Terry is now chief assistant district attorney in Northampton County.
Houck has been working in criminal law since 1977, when he joined the Philadelphia police. Attending college and then law school part time, Houck joined the Bucks County district attorney's office in 1986 and remained on the staff until early 2001, when he was fired by Gibbons after she learned he planned to run. After the fall election, Houck was hired by the Lehigh County district attorney's office and now serves as chief deputy in charge of the violent crimes unit.
