InfoAs a former journalist, political candidate, and executive director of an association of small cities, Nancy Larson has been active in the Minnesota political scene for over 30 years. As senior legislative associate at Flaherty & Hood, P.A., Nancy represents clients at the Legislature and directly lobbies legislators and staff on client issues. Nancy also develops legislative strategies, testifies at legislative hearings, and researches legislative issues.

Prior to joining Flaherty & Hood, P.A. in 2006, Nancy served as Executive Director of the Minnesota Association of Small Cities (MAOSC). From 1978-1988, she worked as a reporter for the Dassel-Cokato Enterprise/Dispatch. As a current resident of Dassel, Nancy is able to stay in touch with the needs of greater Minnesota clients.

Nancy serves as a member of the Democratic National Committee, was the DFL-endorsed candidate for State Auditor in 1998, and was the DFL-endorsed candidate for Lieutenant Governor in 1994.

Nancy graduated summa cum laude from St. Cloud State University with an undergraduate degree in mass communications/public relations and political science.
