Work
• Residential construction, fighting fires for the Forest Service, and selling outdoor recreation equipment.
• Practicing law, including six years in Taipei, Taiwan, five and a half years in Beijing, China, and 25 years in New York and Palo Alto, working both as a sole practitioner and for the largest law firm in the world.
Volunteer
• Twelve years as a spiritual mentor working with men out of prison and off the streets in a long-term recovery center in San Jose.

• Volunteered as District 5 Leader for Santa Clara County GOP, and served as alternate member of the Santa Clara County GOP Executive Committee.
