Lee has been married to his first love, Tina, for 34 years and has a family of three grown children. Teachers form an important part of his life; his wife and two of his children are educators. The tragedy in Uvalde was a huge motivator for him to run for office. Thoughts and prayers are not enough to keep his wife and children safe as they do their jobs, he can take real action in Congress.
His service to his community is as a municipal water engineer, through his family as educators, and his past service in the US Navy. Problem solving to find unique and economical solutions to the many challenges he encounters daily are key strengths he will bring to Congress, qualities which are demonstrably lacking in the current majority.
