| Info | My name is Damon Galdo. I am a union carpenter, construction superintendent, husband, and father. Getting into politics was never something I aspired to do. However, after having children and fearing for their future I decided I cannot wait for someone else to make a change. My campaign is not for just my children. It’s for everyone’s future. We are all Americans and I want what’s best for our country. This great nation has become so divided by just a small percentage of our population. Radical voices have started a movement that has gotten so much attention because people like me have not stood up sooner. We’ve been told we don’t understand, don’t know what really needs to be done, and that we should let the “experts” run Washington. How I see it, those experts have tried and failed over, and over again. I know that the majority is with me. We need to stand together and say enough is enough. I was a Democrat my entire life until the Democratic Party moved so radically left just to do whatever it takes to stay in power. All we have been given has been big talk, no action, and divisive language that only works to make the unity we want so much out of reach. There's quote I am sure you've heard before "Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything". That is what I feel in my heart and that is why I am running for congress.
