I’m a Colorado native, husband, father, and cattle rancher. We live in a great country, state, and region—which is why I have sworn three separate oaths to protect and serve those communities. As a US Army and Colorado Army National Guard captain, UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter pilot, and retired police lieutenant (January 2022), I’ve spent over 20 combined years on the forefront of some of the most pressing challenges facing our state. Unfortunately, those things—public safety, cost of living, and meaningful education for our kids, are being threatened by liberals in Denver and Boulder. In the last several years, the price of homes, energy, and groceries has skyrocketed. School kids are subjected to political agendas and spiking violence. Crime has risen to unprecedented levels, and the ruling liberals have failed to provide needed and meaningful criminal justice reform. Instead, they’ve driven good cops away, ignored victims, and emboldened criminals. As a police officer, I’ve been handcuffed in trying to solve some of these issues. That’s why I’m running for Colorado House District 48. If the poor policies of liberals are going to jeopardize the safety and prosperity of my family, community, and state, then I’m going to jeopardize their chances of being elected. As your neighbor I promise to listen to your voices, represent your concerns, and fight for those things we hold dear—the safety of our families, affordable homes, energy, and groceries for the middle class, and good education for Colorado’s students.
