Info | Ken Harbaugh has spent a lifetime in service to his country. He grew up in a military family, the son and grandson of Air Force combat pilots. When it was his turn, Ken joined the Navy, and led reconnaissance missions in the Middle East and off of North Korea. Like his father and grandfather before him, Ken learned that duty and honor are not just words. They are promises.
Ken is a family man, a loyal husband and a devoted father. When his second daughter was born needing multiple surgeries, Ken took a tough job, often spending weeks away from his wife and kids, so that his family would have health care and his daughter would have the treatment she required.
Throughout that ordeal, Ken stayed true to the ideals of duty and honor. He became a leading advocate for military veterans, most recently serving as President of Team Rubicon Global, an aid organization that has trained more than 45,000 military veterans to deploy to natural disasters in the U.S. and around the world.
KEN HAS ALWAYS PUT HIS COUNTRY FIRST. NOW, MORE THAN EVER, WE NEED LEADERS LIKE KEN ON OUR SIDE.
Ken will stand up for working Ohioans by:
Ensuring every Ohioan has access to affordable healthcare
Bringing good-paying jobs back to our state
Leading the charge to combat the opioid crisis
Preserving a secure retirement for seniors
Guaranteeing that Congress lives up to promises made to our veterans
Ken is not a politician—he’s a problem-solver. He knows how get things done in a crisis. Just as he led teams to respond to disasters like tornadoes and typhoons, he is ready to take on the political disaster in Washington.
