InfoAl Moore -- the party's National Vice Chairman for the past several years -- is making a second run for Vice Presidential in 2004. He was previously the party's VP nominee in 2000. He worked for over 30 years as a computer analyst and mathematician before launching his own company ("a network marketing home-based business selling environmentally-safe home products"). Moore has been a long-time activist in various capacities within the party, and describes himself as "an advocate for the Constitution." Like Templin, he sought the party's replacement Presidential nomination -- but lost by a one-vote margin at the party's executive committee meeting.

American Party Vice-Presidential Candidate Al Moore is a life-long Virginian and advocate for the Constitution. Moore was born in Warrenton. Al's father was an elementary and high school principal for over thirty years. Al graduated from Virginia Tech in 1963 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics. Al worked two years for the State Department of Taxation, five years for Philip Morris and 24 for A. H. Robins & Whitehall-Robins as a computer analyst. Al is the C.E.O. of Get Moore For Your Money Enterprises, a network marketing home-based business selling environmentally safe home products.

Al currently [2004] serves as Vice-Chairman of The American Party of the United States. Al has served as Chairman of the Platform & Resolutions Committee for the last two American Party conventions in Wichita, Kansas in 1996 and in Oklahoma City in 2000.

Al married the former Sue Haney and they have two daughters, Deborah and Dianne.
