| Info | Dr. Felix E. Roque emigrated from Cuba with his family at the age of 11 and attended Harry L. Bain Elementary School in West New York. He joined the United States Army in 1976, and currently serves our great nation proudly as a Colonel and Commander of the 4215 CSH Hospital in Virginia. He completed a four year Anesthesiology and Pain Management fellowship at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York. Formerly the Director of Pain Management at Palisades Hospital, he presently serves as Director at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ.
Dr. Roque is a civil servant in every way. He has served his community as a physician for over 15 years. He provided humanitarian relief to Colombians in Latin America during the 1991 earthquake by donating food, supplies and medications to flood victims at Jimani, Dominican Republic. Although Dr. Roque possesses excellent leadership skills, his best asset is that he cares deeply about people and their problems. He wants to assist in changing West New York for the better, and is being recognized as a qualified leader. Dr. Roque is well known as a philanthropist to individuals who have needed his assistance in many ways.
Dr. Roque proudly stepped forward to lead the recall movement to bring about the change. Dr. Roque’s core beliefs qualify him to lead the civic movement which will bring the healing and prosperity West New York needs.
He represents the peoples' voice, concerns and heart. Transformation is never easy, but his unyielding dedication, persistence and determination is what drives him and his diligent team to fight for the rights of all of West New York's citizens.
Together We Can and Dr. Felix E. Roque will bring the positive change that our township needs for the 21st century. He has the capacity and the compassion to listen to the people. He also has the power within himself and the intellect to make the decisions required to serve the public unselfishly. Dr. Roque is a firm believer of working hard with for his constituents. He has a clear vision and a commitment to reinstate a local government which puts people first.
Dr. Felix E. Roque, leader of the Together We Can recall campaign, and his volunteers are humble civil servants of the people of West New York. Together We Can reclaim our streets and create a brighter more prosperous future for our children, working class and seniors to enjoy for all time.
