· Arizona native born in Prescott June 4, 1944.
· After graduation from high school Bill spent four years in the U S Navy.
· In 1967 he joined the Prescott Fire Department
· In 1980 he accepted the position of Deputy Chief with the Bullhead Fire District.
· In 1989 became the first paid Fire Chief for his community.
· 1998 Bill retired.
Family:
Bill has been married to his wife Leslie for 35 years. They have three children and three grandchildren. They have lived in Mohave County for 22 years.
Achievements:
· Past President of Bullhead City Rotary.
· Founding member and Past President of the Arizona Fire District Association.
· Served as Chairman of the Western Arizona Emergency Medical Council.
· Instructor for National Fire Academy and the Emergency Management Institute.
· Appointmented to the State Emergency Medical Council by Governors Babbit and Mofford.
· Chairman and Lobbyist for the Arizona a Fire District Association Legislative Committee.
· Past President of the Mohave County Fire Offices Association.
· Inducted into Arizona Fire Service Hall of Fame as a Charter Member.
