InfoBeth Grubb is a Democratic candidate for the Missouri House of Representatives, 122nd district. She is a native of Missouri. Born in Columbia, she grew up in Kansas City north of the river and is a Winnetonka High School graduate. She attended the University of Central Missouri (formerly CMSU), graduating with a Bachelor's in Dietetics (1976) and an MBA (1977). She married her college sweetheart, Henry, the day after she graduated. They have been married for 30 years.

Beth worked as a dietitian in hospitals, nursing homes and for hospice early in her career. Later she returned to school, completing a Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis and Administration from Saint Louis University. In 1989 she began a career in disability services at Higginsville Habilitation Center. Her disability services career has taken her to the Department of Mental Health in Jefferson City, the Harry S. Truman Children's Neurological Center, and to her current employment as the Executive Director of Sunshine Center in Independence.

Beth has been an advocate for persons with disabilities, serving on the Lafayette County Board of Sheltered Services, the board of the United Way of Eastern Jackson and Cass Counties, and as the state president of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. She has been a room mother, Girl Scout leader, OHS Booster Club member and an active member of Odessa High School Project Graduation 2001 and 2002. Beth and Henry have two children, Ben and Amanda, both college graduates. They continue to live on the family farm on Grubb Road in Odessa.

The desire to see a strong public education system in Missouri and the passion for a healthcare system that is affordable and available to all persons have encouraged Beth to campaign for a seat in the Missouri House of Representatives.
