Info | Quentin Tolby has served as the Justice of the Peace for the Manisteee precinct since 1993, when the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors appointed him to complete the term of a retiring judge. Judge Tolby was then elected to four-year terms in 1994 and 1998.
Before coming to the bench, Judge Tolby served the City of Glendale in a variety of roles. He was elected mayor in 1992 after having served three terms on the City Council. Before his government service, he was the president of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce and the Glendale Rotary.
Judge Tolby, along with his wife, also owned and operated his own agricultural machinery business that served the west Valley. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he flew F-86 fighter jets in the late 50s.
Judge Tolby also writes a column on law and justice-related issues for several regional editions of the Arizona Republic.
